The Great Chicago Fire in Music and Story

  • Second Presbyterian Church 1936 South Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL, 60616 United States (map)

Commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, which ravaged the city October 8-10, 1871, this very special performance will feature musical selections related to the Fire, performed on the historic four-manual Austin organ of Second Presbyterian Church by its music director Michael Shawgo accompanied by Sherry Watkins on vocals.
